Build Me a World is a nonprofit offering support and a creative outlet for neighbors who have experienced the destructive cultural cycle of gang-related crime and the life challenges that accompany that cycle.

Program Director, Chris Woodhull took inspiration for his initiative from the Build Me a World documentary about The Howard School. With the support of The Mission Chattanooga, Chris has recently rented 1,000 sq. ft. in our same GHC building to host their weekly Tribe One meetings in which reformed gang members share experience, strength, and offer hope for younger neighbors currently caught up in the street life and looking to make a change. Tribe One meetings are growing steadily, and Chris is optimistic about developing the space for a music studio.
