Collecting Photos of East Chattanooga

Did you grown up in East Chattanooga? Did you live in East Chattanooga in the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s? Did your parents? Do you have any photos of the historic Rivoli Theatre (aka ‘Rat Hole’), local churches, or other businesses along Glass Street? Glass House Collective has partnered with the Chattanooga History Center and Picnooga to collect photos of the East Chattanooga/ Glass Street area. We will use a portable scanner to scan and archive your photos.

Please stop by on Tuesday, November 11th or Thursday, November 13th from 3pm- 6pm inside Glass House Collective, 2523 Glass Street.

Our neighbor, Gail McKeel, will provide tours of the historic Rivoli Theatre from 5-6pm.

This event is also in partnership with CHA175 event celebrating Chattanooga’s 175th birthday.
