Flying Over the Rails Mural by Seven

Seven, one of Glass House Collective’s artist completed a stunning two-story mural on the side of Glass House Collective’s building at the corner of Glass Street and Awtry Street. The mural took two weeks to complete and is now an icon on Glass Street. Seven states that the work is open for self interpretation for each passerby but was created as a metaphor that symbolizes his career as an artist.

The mural “Flying Over the Rails” also symbolizes the community’s ability to break through the limitations of society, more specifically the glass ceiling of limitations created by a culture of inequality.  As a whole, the mural has brought a new sense of beauty, excitement, and creative energy back to Glass Street.
