Grand Opening of Moving Forward Studio

Moving Forward Studio hosted a Grand Opening for their newly renovated dance studio on the second level of 2523 Glass Street, Glass House Collective’s building.

The Grand Opening welcomed 60+ adults and youth to the Moving Forward Dance Studio space.  The participants were introduced to the three artists in residence through the Glass House Collective Creative Placemaking program. Rebekah led the participants in a traditional african libations house blessing while everyone enjoyed traditional African foods provided by the Mawuko Family.  Ten local musicians and bands were also able to attend to provide lively music for the event.
